MAIN EVENT TICKETS: EACH NOMINATION IS GRANTED ONE (1) COMPLIMENTARY TICKET. 
Please read and understand that sentence literally. ONE premium seat for each nomination, even if there are multiple persons associated with the nomination. This courtesy is to insure all nominations are represented and have access to red carpet. Additional premium main floor tickets must be purchased. All main floor seating includes access to the Official After Party upstairs in Bardot.

GENERAL ADMISSION TICKETS
Nominees have the option of purchasing unlimited General Admission tickets at 50% discount by using promo code "nominee". General Admission tickets allow access to venue, main lobby, upper balcony and specifically designated side areas off main floor. General Admission does not give access to After Party. Those must be purchased separately. For this ticket discount option, you can use the promo code "nominee" to get 50% discount for After Party tickets.

DIAMOND BANQUET & MAIN FLOOR VIP BOOTHS: All main floor seating is premium and cannot be discounted. Main floor Diamond Banquet and VIP booth seated guests receive complimentary access to Official After Party. Diamond Banquet table seats and the two VIP Wing Booths will be served dinner. All other VIP booths and the two Loge booths DO NOT include dinner.

CHECK IN: Our check in team will have nominee, VIP and sponsor name master lists, and the ticket level associated with the name. We allow under 21 years of age, so everyone over 21 will be given a wristband to identify legal age. Venue security will be checking ID’s and then guests will proceed to the main entrance of the venue and look for either

NOMINEE RED CARPET or NON-CARPET LINE:  All assigned MAIN FLOOR seated guests will be given numbered wristbands corresponding to their reserved table or VIP booth. All tables and booths are numbered. Wristbands must be worn at all times while in the venue. Non-seated (General Admission) guests may head inside the venue, enjoy the lobby bar and socialize but PLEASE do not congregate near the red carpet or interview areas. We ask all General Admission ticket holders to head to the designated GA areas in balcony and not block any designated walkways. 

TICKET LEVELS AND WRISTBANDS: When you arrive at appropriate check in table, our team will verify your ticket level and attach the corresponding wristband(s). There are SIX ticket levels and wristband types:

• GENERAL ADMISSION
PRESS
• 21 & OVER
• ALL ACCESS (performers, staff, etc.)

RED CARPET: The red carpet will run from 4:30pm to 8:00pm. To ensure everyone gets carpet time, we have set arrival times for nominee by category and ticket type. Nominees must be ready to walk the carpet during the following time frames, or you will miss the opportunity.

ONLY 2019 NOMINEES, APPROVED VIP & PRESENTERS ARE ALLOWED ON THE RED CARPET

  • If you are a single nominee (one person), we will allow a +1 on the carpet with you. Please do not abuse this courtesy. 

  • Please arrive at your designated time noted above. If you do not, you may miss your chance to walk the red carpet. There will be a line for the carpet so we ask for patience, cooperation and courtesy. Our PR team will check you in, whiteboard your name and direct you to where you need to go. You may pose for a moment or two for still photos. Please move along and don’t hold up the carpet. Be respectful for all the other nominees waiting in line.

  • ALL NOMINEES WILL NOT BE INTERVIEWED: There is simply not enough time. If you are chosen for a quick interview, you’ll be directed to an area off the red carpet. Please do not EXPECT this and please do not ASK to be interviewed, just be ready if it happens.

  • Personal cameras and cellphones are allowed in the venue. Please DO NOT take selfies on the main red carpet. There is a photo wall in the lobby area where you can take all the selfies you like! Only professional and approved media will have a reserved spot on the main red-carpet line.

WHAT TO WEAR: Recommended dress is "Hollywood Hip" or whatever you feel will best suits your style and vibe, especially on a red carpet. This is NOT a stuffy, formal black-tie event. Although, if you want to dress up with tux & top hat, go for it! And ladies, formal is quite acceptable, and so is "Hollywood Hip" and "Sunset Strip Sexy!" We also love seeing "personality attire." Just remember…it’s a party with a purpose! Get ready to enjoy yourself!

PARKING: There are paid parking lots North and South of AVALON and one across the street next to Capitol Records. If you find a spot on the street at a parking meter be sure to read the signs before heading into the club. For cheaper parking options, there are $10 parking lots at 1800 Vine (entrance on Yucca) and 6223 Selma (on Selma between Argyle and El Centro). Bottom line prepare and plan accordingly.

DECORUM & CONDUCT: During the awards show (8:00pm-10:00pm) we ask that you keep voice volume to a minimum, but scream and applaud when appropriate. The show is being recorded! If you wish to engage in loud conversation, there is plenty of room in the main lobby that cannot be heard up by our production recording. Anyone disrupting the show will be asked to leave the area. We appreciate your cooperation and consideration. No outside alcohol or illegal drugs are permitted inside the Avalon. Anyone found with illegal substances or is determined to be disruptive will be at best asked to leave or escorted out of the venue by security.
