Sun graduated from the China University of Political Science and Law with a degree of Bachelor of Law in 2005 and then went to America to further the study in Chicago–Kent College of Law, majoring the International Commercial law.

After graduated from the college, Sun worked as a legal specialist in Starlight Media Group Co., Ltd and was responsible for the legal affairs including the regular investment on television programs and films, the produce, the implantation, the publicity, the post production, the publication, the sales on the Internet/ TV / disc, the music and the artist brokerage.

Based on the satisfying performance, Sun was appointed as the Legal Director of the Group, being in charged of the cooperation projects such as the investment and financing for the national films, the introduction about the western films, the co-productions and the establishment of film investment fund etc.

Sun represented for Yunnan Film Group Co., Ltd as the Legal Director of the Group and was mainly responsible for the production of the film and television programs with North America, Europe and South Korea, the negotiation about the business model with the co-production screenwriter companies, the project establishment， the co-production contracts, the post-production, the completion guarantee, the loan financing, the international propaganda, the global billing, the tax subsidies and other legal services.

In 2010, Sun worked in the Intellectual Property Group of Beijing Run Ming Law Office (2011 Chambers IP Awards and 2012 ALB IP Awards) and was managed for the IP legal affairs including the non-litigation affairs and dispute resolution about the copyright, the trademark, the patent and the trade secret in the mainland China of the global fast food enterprises-McDonald’s, the pharmaceutical leading enterprise -Johnson, milk powder-Abbott, luxury-LV, Telecom-Ericsson and gallery-Ullens.

In 2012, Sun joined in the Beijing Juntai Law Firm and has completed special legal service for 96 television programs and films, accumulating a good reputation and Sun with his Juntai group ranked highly in the entertainment legal services market in the Mainland China. Sun has been the investor and general manager of Beijing Shuoshuochangchang Culture Media Co., Ltd. since 2014. The company’s main business is the development and the production of the cartoon films. The company has co-designed and co-developed the cartoon film “ Frog General Mobilization” which was released on April 30th 2016 with Taiwan Wantong Technology Co., Ltd. and Beijing Haiyanheqing Film Culture Co., Ltd. and has achieved a great success for a low-cost cartoon film of 10 million RMB box offices. Nowadays, the Company is co-developing a cartoon film called “Save the Lite City” with Taiwan Chihe Digital Company and Taiwan Qingshi Film Company. Sun served as a producer as what he did in the “Frog General Mobilization”.
